you guys.

i have a confession.

i'm not doing the dishes right now. nor am i folding the mess of laundry at the foot of my unmade bed. i'm not cleaning the bathroom. and i'm not touching that pile of rain-soaked clothes at the door from my run this morning.


i'm eating a piece of chocolate pie.

i'm not saying that i won't do any of those things listed above. i'm just saying that, right now, this pie is much more important to me and my well-being. i may even go so far as to say for the well-being of this household.

in my defense, this pie was made with tofu. tofu? yeah, you heard me right. don't worry, there's also a graham cracker crust and melted chocolate chips to balance things out.
it's all about balance, people.

it's reeeeaaaally good. especially if you try it frozen.

  1. Yum, looks delicious! At the moment I'm nibbling on a brownie I made with pureed black beans in lieu of oil/butter. Love being able to justify eating a sweet by adding a healthy ingredient or two! :)
